Diner pays bill after 13 yearsA restaurateur spoke of his amusement at finally receiving the money for a £10 curry a customer forgot to pay for 13 years ago.
Police appealed for help in finding the restaurant owner in March after the absent-minded diner contacted them via an anonymous letter.
The customer explained in the letter how he forgot to pay for a meal at an Indian restaurant in Mumbles, Swansea, south Wales, in 1996, but could not remember the name of the establishment
