Leona Lewis's tarantula fright
Leona Lewis was reportedly left terrified when she encountered a nest of poisonous tarantulas on a recent photoshoot.
The X Factor winner - a vegan animal lover who recently adopted a tramp's rabbit to save it from harm - was being photographed for the cover of her new album on a clifftop in Malibu, California, when she got a the creeps from the crawlers.
A source told The Sun: "Someone on the set had disturbed the spiders' nest and they had come out to see what all the commotion was about, Leona was the first to see them and was petrified - frozen in fear and shrieking."
The insider added: "For someone who professes to be such a nature lover, it was a bit of an unexpected reaction. But she was terrified of being bitten."
The photoshoot had to be shut down for two hours while pest control came in and made the area safe.
